The Art in The Science

After a lifetime of devoting equal attention to science and art, I no longer separate the scientific method from the artistic process. Both get equal billing. Thankfully, deep observation and meticulous attention to detail are valuable tools in both pursuits. 

So, either I created artworks as an outlet for my scientific inquiry or I pursued science to do justice to my artistic subjects. You’ll have to decide but either way, I do marvel at our natural world and feel compelled to recreate my study subjects. I hope some of that science-art connection comes through with this collection.
